Kasai Laboratory is a research lab under the Division of Precision Science & Technology of Osaka University, Osaka, Japan.  The laboratory endeavors to perform theoretical study of the dynamics and characteristics of materials, and to train researchers working in this field. Kasai Laboratory is instrumental in institutionalizing the CMD® Asia Network.

The CMD® Research Group of the DLSU Physics Department, which consists of faculty members and students of DLSU and some collaborators, performs computer simulations from ab initio perspective in order to predict and elucidate properties and behavior of materials. The group’s current research focuses on the fundamental science in the physical and chemical processes in nanomaterials growth, unique properties, fabrication of novel devices, and their unique applications in energy science and biomedical science.
